Daniel’s Story

In early spring of 2017, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. My injuries were so severe. that I had to be transported via a life flight helicopter to a Charlotte hospital. For nine days I was in a coma and remained on life support. All in all. I was in the hospital for 50 days! My injuries included several broken bones on my left side, and trauma to my head. My injuries left me unable to work, and to keep my concentration and focus. Because I am self-employed and not being able to work, I had no other option than to dissolve my business. This left my family with insurmountable bills, that put a huge financial burden on me and my family. Seeing no other option, my wife and I came to Feed My Lambs Ministry in Wadesboro seeking any kind of help they could provide. What they provided for my family overwhelmed us! Without their assistance with food and other items to meet our daily needs, I don't know where we would be today. This has helped to relieve the daily stress I am under to provide food and hygiene items for my family. They have helped enable me to support my family with dignity and love. Feed My Lambs has been in partnership with United Way for the past 15 years! Thank God for Feed My Lambs and United Way. The help and love Lisa and all the hard working volunteers provide the residents of Anson County is truly a blessing to all.
